Coordinates total patient care for assigned patients.
Able to assess data reflective of the patient’s condition and interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirement relative to his/her age, and/or culture-specific need, and to provide appropriate care as defined by Client Facilities Policies and Procedures.
Utilizes the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning. Intervening, and Documentation, and Evaluation with established Policy and Procedures and standards of care/practice of Client Facilities.
Recognizes Patient Rights.
1. Minimum of one (1) year recent acute care work experience within the last three (3) years
2. Current State of California RN Licensure
3. Current TB skin test/chest x-ray. TB screening annually thereafter
4. Initial physical exam and statement of good health from physician and health check annually thereafter
5. Two (2) satisfactory references
6. 80% or better on ENS RN qualifying exam in specialty area (circle all that applies) M/S, Critical Care, OR, ER and TELE
7. Current CPR renewed annually and required certificated for specialty are (circle all that applies) BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation
8. Clear pre-employment drug screen and background check
